Punk Rock Flee Market

I know I'm super late, but last week a friend and I attended Philly's annual Punk Rock Flee Market. They held the event in an open garage-like space, with lines of vendors selling items that range from old record players to one-of-a kind pieces of jewelry. The only thing distracting me from purchasing the first thing I saw, was the heat. The crowds of people only made it worse and really hindered my shopping experience. We were literally melting! Over all, I still made out with a cool selection of items. Here are a few of my lucky finds.

These are super comfy

Love this necklace!!!!

And this one too!

Love love love the pattern on this bathing suit!

Found this bendable bracelet that can easily be unraveled and  turned into a necklace.

My amateur photography skills at their best!!!

Memorable Mad Men

There's noway I can have a blog dicussing vintage fashions and fail to mention my absolute favorite show on television rigth now. Not only do the storylines leave you craving a glass of Bourbon, but the wardrobe selection is picturesque to the 1960's. From Betty Draper's form fitting sillohette's to Joan's colorful  palette of secretarial ensembles, the women of Mad Men have re-invented "sexy" in the 60's.

Betty Draper is the most stylish stay-at-home mom I've ever seen

Joan dressed to perfection.

But lest we forget, the sultry swagger of our protagonist, Don Draper or the uber sophistication of Roger Sterling. From head to toe, each suite is tailored to the "T". These men are SHARP!  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
